Making city government and our city’s growing economy work for all residents. Euless has wonderful resources and opportunities for residents, but many are simply unaware of them. Council places are elected at-large. This makes it each Members’ job to reach out city-wide, be every resident’s voice on the Council and connect them with vital services and opportunities. With our location, workforce and entrepreneurial spirit, Euless should be #1 in North Texas in small business growth. But places like Irving and Grapevine are pulling ahead. Again, it’s about outreach: young innovators, minority and women business owners need the Council’s attention and support. It’s time for a young, tech-savvy Council Member who can reach out city-wide, across boundaries of race, religion and national origin, to meet residents where they are, for example, on social media. My education, life experience and history of public service have prepared me to do just that. As a real estate attorney and business owner, I know how to leverage Euless’s location and workforce to attract investment and make our growing economy work for all residents. I will bring a real estate attorney’s knowledge and skills to economic development initiatives currently before the Council and seek out new opportunities.
