#1 getting a handle on Budgeting and strategic planning for the future needs of our growth (3-year, 5-year, 10 -year). Get a handle on traffic issues and road construction. Implement decision making processes to begin thoughtful discussions towards taxpayer relief. Work to expand business to other wanting areas of the city. Finally create an environment that will back Mansfield citizen’s overall confidence and satisfaction with its council through good municipal governance. For years, I have been a citizen’s voice for this community. Whether through my HOA position advocating for my homeowners or through community involvement, I have worked for the citizens to make this community and our businesses a better place to work, play and live. And this City has benefited from the changes to ordinances, upgrades in streets and public safety equipment upgrades from my involvement. I have worked with City staff on multiple occasions for better procedures and transparency. I feel it time to take my experience and commitment as a consistent voice for this community and city onto the council.

Quality Growth is so important for our city and it is obtained with high standards and stringent enforcement. I plan to weigh new project requests on their quality of structure, practical use and location, what they add to our community and the economic impact. When looking at projects we must anticipate how they will stand the test of time. Our world is changing so quickly with the way people shop and live their lives, we need to be very strategic in our future planning.I live here, work here, shop here, play here. I raised my children here and they are raising their children here. I believe Mansfield is the Greatest City in the Greatest State in the Greatest Country and I intend to keep it that way. I have construction/development experience and am a Realtor. I understand what people are looking for in a desirable city and I know what it takes to achieve it. We have a burgeoning Historical Downtown and my time on the Historical Landmark Commission will be beneficial in helping it to be all that it can be.
