Ballot PropositionWhether the Town of Trophy Club Crime Control and Prevention District should be continued for five years and the crime control and prevention district sales tax should be continued for five years.
If I vote FORTrophy Club can continue to have a Crime Control and Prevention District, and will continue to collect a sales tax of 0.25%. The sales tax will expire in five years.
If I vote AGAINSTTrophy Club cannot continue to have a Crime Control and Prevention District or impose a sales tax of 0.25%.
Tax ConsequencesIf the proposition passes, Trophy Club sales taxes will remain at their current rate. If the proposition fails, the sales tax rate will go down by 0.25%.

District funds can be used to help fund police departments, neighborhood watch programs, school security, and other crime prevention activities.

Ballot PropositionThe reauthorization of the local sales and use tax in the Town of Trophy Club at the rate of one-fourth of one percent to continue providing revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets. The tax expires on the fourth anniversary of the date of this election unless the imposition of the tax is reauthorized.
If I vote FORFor the next four years, Trophy Club can continue to fund street maintenance and repair by collecting a sales tax of 0.25%. The sales tax will expire in four years.
If I vote AGAINSTTrophy Club cannot collect a sales tax of 0.25% for street maintenance and repair.
