My top priority, if reelected, is to continue providing our students and faculty with the best tools they need to be successful. Starting next year EVERY student in the district will have a device which opens up the doors to access all the information they could ever need and even start coding at an early age. Our high school has a booming CTE program which is giving students the ability to get a certification in their field of interest and the increased opportunity to have a job right after graduation. High school students can also choose dual credit classes and earn College Credits. Our goals are to increase opportunities for students at all grade levels. This is my 6th year as a WSISD school board member. In this time Our team of 8 has become one of the strongest, most cohesive teams around. We work collaboratively to make our visons a reality for our students and staff. We have safe, clean and inviting facilities. Our students have the best technology and learning resources available. Our sports programs and fine arts are thriving and growing every year. During my tenure I’ve had 153.25 training hours at the local, state and national average. Our School Board has also had the honor of presenting once at the Texas Association of School Boards Convention and four times at the National School Board Association Convention.
