Job descriptionThe Board is the governing body of TRWD. Term is four years.
DutiesTRWD is responsible for:
- Providing water to 2.1 million people in the district
- Monitoring water quality
- Managing flood protection
- Operating water pipelines, floodway levees, and reservoirs
- Operating recreational areas
- Administering the Trinity River Vision Authority, which is responsible for the Panther Island project
- Setting tax rates for property owners within the district
