All bills to increase taxes, appropriate funds, or raise revenue must start in the House.
The House can bring impeachment charges against statewide office holders (charges are tried in the Senate).
Annual salary$7,200/yr; $190/day when legislature in session

Over the last few sessions at the capitol it became clear to me that the Texas Legislature needs to have a better representation of the disability communities.

As a person born with Cerebral Palsy it is my goal to show all persons with disabilities that it its possible to have a direct impact on their local, state and federal government. YOU CAN BE REPRESENTED OR HOLD OFFICE IN THE TEXAS LEGISLATURE.
