Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Workshop

December 4 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm CST

Hemphill No Se Vende: Education is anything we learn. Education plays a big factor in how we think and see the world. Some formalize this education by transferring their knowledge into a diploma, certificate, license, or degree as a way of getting ahead. Anything we do in life will take time to learn as everything is a process. So, if everything is a process, and if time is money, then why not use our time wisely and invest in ourselves. The only outcome will be time spent on becoming a more educated, and hopefully better version of ourselves.

If you’ve ever considered getting a formal education of any kind, or if you’re looking to transfer what you know now into a certificate or degree, you’ll need to have money. The federal government has money for people who want to go to college, technical school, or who want to formalize their education. Some people use this money to pay for tuition, books, supplies, and in some cases, some people have been able to buy a car. It all depends on us and how we choose to use these funds.

You can utilize a certificate, license, or degree to leverage for higher paying wages/more money. More money doesn’t necessarily mean happiness, but for many its definitely a better quality life.

We have partnered with Tarrant County College and will have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Workshop on December 4th at Victory Forest Community Center from 12-2. Please come out and ask questions or fill out your application there! This will be open for anyone who has questions about financial aid, GED, and ESL classes. Whether you’re in high school, already in college, thinking about college, or need a GED, or cursos para aprender ingles, come out and LEARN More December 4th!

Hope to see you there. Te Esperamos.
