Julie Oliver
Bill Kelsey
I am a Libertarian working to end US wars abroad.
Soy Libertario, luchando contra las guerras de los estados unidos en otros paises.
Roger Williams
2. WHAT ARE YOUR TOP FEW PRIORITIES IF ELECTED?
Julie Oliver
Bill Kelsey
1. Working to end participation in all foreign wars, known and unknown; ending all efforts to support foreign governments or efforts to overthrow them; ending all taxpayer aid to foreign regimes; ending all foreign military alliances; withdrawing all US troops from abroad.
2. Working to develop immigration appreciation, with streamlined processes for accepting and processing immigrants and asylum seekers. Immigrants should be self sufficient, or under the wings of sponsors who can guarantee support. Immigrants should not be dependent on government handouts, but I also believe that the phenomenon is exaggerated and not an issue.
3. Working to abolish the income tax.
1. Dejar las guerras; vivir en paz con el mundo!
2. Dar la bienvenida a los immigrantes.
3. Anular impuestos sobre la renta.
Roger Williams
3. WHAT WOULD YOUR IDEAL VOTING RIGHTS ACT INCLUDE?
Julie Oliver
Bill Kelsey
I need to learn more to discuss the ideal. I know that it should be based on well-considered principles, and not on the expedience of which rights might give which party an edge.
Roger Williams
4. WHAT SHOULD CONGRESS PRIORITIZE TO IMPROVE THE US HEALTHCARE SYSTEM?
Julie Oliver
Bill Kelsey
Work against the dysfunction in which providers, insurance companies, the malpractice lawyers, medical school student loan system, and government are all working to milk each other with the inflating costs passed on to the consumer.
Roger Williams
5. HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE HOUSE'S RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC? WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE OR ADD?
Julie Oliver
Bill Kelsey
I note that we live in a time of great confusion and distrust. The response should have been based on science and not on politics.
Roger Williams
6. YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY FACE PARTICULAR CHALLENGES, SUCH AS AFFORDING HIGHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING, FINDING SECURE EMPLOYMENT, AFFORDABLE HOUSEING, AND CONCERNS WITH CLIMATE CHANGE. WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR ASSISTING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CITIZENS?
Julie Oliver
Bill Kelsey
The highest priority is to not burden future generations with debts which they did not vote. We have been paying for our own conveniences at the expense of the yet unborn.
Roger Williams
7. HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH CONSTITUENTS SO YOU KNOW WHAT THEIR CONCERNS AND PRIORITIES ARE?
Julie Oliver
Bill Kelsey
Handwritten letters and cards, email, Facebook messenger, and in person visits will all be welcome. I probably won't do Twitter!
Roger Williams
8. ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO ADD?
Julie Oliver
Bill Kelsey
My task is to work for a world in which we are kinder and more considerate, and in which we help those who stumble without leaving them to dependence on government.
Most of all I would like to bring awareness to the public of the wars abroad and the process by which our government creates the enemies it fights.
In all I do I struggle against racism, primitive tribalism, and fear of the immigrant.
